Mesa Valley Community School (MVCS) creates opportunities for students and families looking for guardian-driven, personalized learning plans.
In order to achieve success with blended learning environments, including homeschooling and on-campus courses, there needs to be a robust learning management system to enable enrollment, progress reports, funding requests, grades, and directories in a central location.
MVCS reached out to Devetry to design and build this all-in-one learning management system which we completed for their 20/21 school year.
Now, guardians and staff members can access essential information, track progress, and focus on their student’s education.
Problem
Mesa Valley Community School’s (MVCS) old platform wasn’t providing value to its users. Their 400 students and 40 staff members were dealing with an outdated, clunky user interface which made it difficult to accurately track academic growth, financials, and available resources. It also required staff members to complete frivolous tasks like manual uploads and data entry.
On top of that, their core data was poorly organized and in different formats which made it difficult for the school’s administration to understand their student trends and needs.
All in all, they wanted to provide their users with a streamlined experience that enhanced the personalized learning plan experience. In order to do that, they needed an easy-to-use platform that would serve all of their users: parents/guardians, advisors, and administrators.
